The Leadership for Social Good Study Abroad Program combines academic learning with hands-on experience across Central and Eastern Europe. Through coursework, engagement with social sector leaders and organizations, and an international internship in Budapest, students explore complex social challenges and learn what it takes to create meaningful and sustainable social impact.

Working in teams with a nonprofit organization or social enterprise, students apply their skills to a real-world organizational challenge while building their leadership, problem-solving, cross-cultural collaboration, and professional capabilities. The experience prepares students to navigate complex challenges and create social value - whether their future takes them into the private, public, or nonprofit sector.

As an added benefit, all 12 credit hours earned through the program count toward Georgia Tech's Leadership Studies Minor (Business Track), fulfilling 12 of the minor's 15 required credit hours. Students who successfully complete the study abroad program therefore need just one additional three-credit course to complete the minor.
