Join West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA) and Georgia Tech’s VIP: Building for Equity and Sustainability for the celebration of the completion of this multi-semester project! More than a structure, this classroom is a vision for the future of learning immersed in the environment. Designed with cultural relevance, ecological sustainability, and radical imagination in mind, it exists to offer new model for outdoor education rooted in culture. The Ribbon Cutting will take place during WAWA’s Forest Fest, the “Forest Disco Party” and will being with a short hike leading to the Outdoor Classroom.
