Ruthie Yow, Ph.D. serves as SCORE's Associate Director and holds a courtesy appointment in the School of History and Sociology.  While at Georgia Tech, she has focused on cultivating strong community partnerships and supporting sustainability education and community-engaged research. She serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Asset-Based Community Development Institute and of Marietta YELLS (Youth Empowerment through Learning, Leading, and Serving).  She has a PhD in American Studies and African American Studies from Yale University.
